New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Patna on Sunday received an overwhelming response from women, many of whom described the prime minister as a leader who brought change in their lives through welfare schemes and social empowerment initiatives.
The emotional voices of the crowd echoed with praise, gratitude and pride as they watched the road show in the state capital.
A middle-aged woman wearing the party’s saffron muffler said she considered PM Modi “like ‘God’ for poor women.”
“Because of PM Modi, we got ration cards and Ayushman Bharat cards. Earlier, when illness struck, our houses and jewelery were mortgaged or sold. Today women are free from that burden. We can take care of our health. We feel empowered,” she told IANS.
Another woman, looking emotional, said she was overwhelmed to see the Prime Minister in person.
She said, “I was amazed. I never thought I would see them so closely. They have empowered women and youth. They have changed lives through skill development and schemes.”
Another woman called PM Modi “extremely smart”.
He said, “Bhagwan ka doosra roop lag rahe hai (He looked like another form of God). He did what no one else did – from developing the country to building the Ram temple. We are very proud.”
Another woman highlighted better security and civil discipline in Patna. “Women feel safe. CCTVs have been installed and traffic rules are followed. Crimes have reduced a lot. Now girls can go out even at night without any fear,” she said.
For many women in Patna, the road show was not just a political event, but a deeply emotional moment – a chance to see the leader they credit for their dignity, security and opportunities.
The atmosphere echoed with chants, tears and applause, underscoring a powerful sentiment: for these women, PM Modi represents hope, strength and aspiration.
