New Delhi, Nov 11 (IANS) Matrice News Communications Director Manoj Kumar Singh announced that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is strongly leading in the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 and attributed the huge support of women voters for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar besides good governance and job creation.
In a special conversation with IANS on November 11, Singh said, “This time the focus was on good governance and the second focus was on providing employment. Women among the public are also seen benefiting the NDA this time. They are completely behind Nitish Kumar.”
The pollster said Jan Suraj’s initial buzz failed as its voters shifted back to the NDA, leading to a slight drop in votes but no loss in the alliance’s momentum.
In contrast, the grand alliance faltered due to narrative inconsistency and the muted presence of Rahul Gandhi.
“The grand alliance left the SIR issue midway and started talking about employment. Rahul Gandhi did not appear to be a major factor and this directly hurt the grand alliance,” Singh said.
Singh highlighted the NDA’s women voter solidarity, with the survey showing 65 per cent women support against 27 per cent for the MGB.
The Matrice exit poll, conducted through field survey and CATI methods among 66,087 respondents from November 6 to November 11 with a margin of error of plus or minus 3 per cent, projects the NDA to garner 147 to 167 seats with a vote share of 48 per cent.
The Grand Alliance is at 37 per cent with 70 to 90 seats, while Jan Suraj, despite early campaigning, is holding steady at 5 per cent of votes but only 0 to 2 seats.
AIMIM is expected to win 2 to 3 seats with 1 per cent, and others will collectively gain 0 to 5 seats for 9 per cent.
Among men, NDA is ahead by 52 percent to 36 percent. Regionally, the alliance dominates Angika (47.9 percent), Bhojpur (48.4 percent), Magadh (48.8 percent), and Mithilanchal (47.7 percent), while the MGB leads in Seemanchal at 49.9 percent.
