Patna, Nov 2 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public rallies in Bihar, especially Nawada, on Sunday witnessed an enthusiastic and colorful scene as slogans of ‘Modi, Modi’ were echoed by his supporters, including a large number of women.
Nawada being the second venue of PM Modi’s one-day campaign in Bihar, people were gathering at the designated ground since morning with the tricolor as well as BJP flags in their hands.
Many youth and workers supported PM Modi by raising slogans, while many women participants were seen greeting him by showing posters and placards.
Many women were seen getting photographed with cutouts and posters of the Prime Minister at the rally site. Radhika Singh, a little girl from Hisua, attracted everyone’s attention because she was dressed as Bharat Mata and was waving the tricolor.
Many of these women spoke to IANS, showing their support for Modi 3.0 and expressing confidence about their bright future under his leadership.
Gauri Rani said, “It is a very good thing that Prime Minister Modi came to Nawada for the second time in a year. We sat here since 9 in the morning and waited for a long time. This moment is very special for us. Nawada was once considered a backward and extremely backward area and today Prime Minister Modi has blessed us here. It is a matter of great pride for us.”
Another woman shared her enthusiasm, saying, “I would like to tell PM Modi that Ramrajya should be established in India.”
As the Prime Minister addressed the gathering, some women also displayed their hand-made paintings and drawings, which were accepted by the Prime Minister and duly collected by his security personnel.
During his address, many youth, women and children were seen raising slogans of ‘Modi, Modi’ which continued for some time even after his speech.
After holding election rallies, PM Modi was scheduled to hold a mega roadshow in Patna and was also scheduled to visit Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara in the Bihar capital.
