Woman arrested after two men found dead in Hartlepool

A woman has been arrested after two bodies were found at a home in Hartlepool on Friday night.

Police were called to Eaglesfield Road in the seaside town about 11.40pm and found the bodies of two men.

The woman, aged in her 30s, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

She has been released on bail while police inquiries continue.

Police appealed for information and the spokesman added: “The men’s families have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

“Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.”
