wisconsin Authorities have asked a state court to revoke the conditional release of Morgan Geyser, the woman who nearly killed her sixth-grade classmate in 2014 after being named after the horror villain thin man And earlier this week one ran away from a group home.

A wake them up A county Circuit Court judge agreed Wednesday to seal a petition filed by the Department of Corrections late Tuesday seeking to revoke Geyser’s conditional release. A Waukesha County judge earlier this year approved Geyser’s release from a state mental institution to live in a group home.

Geyser cut off her GPS monitoring bracelet Saturday night and ran into the group home madisonWisconsin, with a 43-year-old companion, authorities said. geyser police found outside chicago Sunday night, about 170 miles (274 kilometers) from Madison.

Geyser did not fight his extradition to Wisconsin during a Chicago court appearance Tuesday. Wisconsin authorities have 30 days to collect him.

Geiger’s attorney, Tony Cotton, did not respond to an email Wednesday seeking comment on the state’s request to revoke his release.

If Geyser’s conditional release is revoked, he could be sent back to the mental institution where he spent most of the last eight years. He may also face new charges in connection with the escape.

Geyser’s companion has been charged with trespassing and obstruction, but The Associated Press is not naming that companion because the person has not been charged with helping Geyser escape. AP efforts to contact that person were unsuccessful.

However, the partner called WKOW-TV on Monday and said the two had become friends at church and had seen each other daily for the past month. Geyser decided to run away because she feared her group home would no longer allow them to see each other, the person said.

“She ran because of me,” the friend told the television station.

Geyser and his partner took an overnight bus to Illinois, the friend said.

Geyser and her friend Anissa Weier lured Peyton Leutner, a classmate of theirs, to a Waukesha park in 2014. Geiger stabbed Leutner 19 times, narrowly missing his heart, while Weier encouraged him. At that time all three girls were 12 years old. Leutner barely survived.

Geiger and Weier later told investigators that they had attacked Leutner in hopes of impressing the Slender Man and becoming his servant. They said they feared that Slender Man would harm their families if they did not attack.

Slender Man was created online in 2009 by Eric Knudsen as a mysterious figure photo-edited into everyday images of children at play. He became a popular boogeyman after appearing in video games, online stories, and a 2018 film.

Both Geiger and Weier were eventually committed to a state mental institution – Geiger for 40 years and Weier for 25 years. Wisconsin law allows people committed to state institutions to petition for release. Weir achieved conditional release in 2021. Geyser, now 23, won conditional release in September after four requests and was placed in a group home.

State health officials tried to block his release in March, telling the judge that Geyser had not volunteered for his therapy team because he had read “Rent Boy,” a novel about murder and selling organs on the black market. He also alleged that she had been communicating with a man who collects murder memorabilia, and that she had sent him her sketch of a dismembered body and a postcard saying she wanted to be intimate with him.

The judge concluded that Geyser was not trying to hide anything and proceeded with her release, which was finalized in September.
