Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 17 September (IANS) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday assured that the government will make tireless efforts in all areas like industry, employment generation, information technology, agriculture and infrastructure for the overall progress of Marathwada.
He also expressed confidence that the Mahayati government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will continue to work for the welfare and progress of Marathwada.
He was speaking on the occasion of Marathwada Mukti Sangram, which was the day after hoisting the flag and paying tribute to the memorial.
Chief Minister Fadnavis said that the decisions raised in the meeting of the State Cabinet held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in 2023 are being implemented at a fast pace, saying that Chhatrapati Sambhinagar is now becoming the EV capital of the country.
He said that the government has approved a scheme of Rs 2,700 crore for the supply of drinking water to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city.
He said, “Today, due to the Samardi Highway and the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Chhatrapati Sambhajnagar has become a very important place for all investors. The investment made by the Hyundai company in this place shows this,” he said.
According to the Chief Minister, Latur’s Railway Coach Factory is now in its final stages where about 14,000 people will get employment. The tasks which are going on not only in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, but are also important in terms of development in other parts of Marathwada. Today, the dream of a railway from Ahilnagar to Beed is being fulfilled.
“To make the drought of Marathwada a matter of the past, water from the Krishna Valley has been brought to Marathwada. In the second phase, flood water will be brought from Sangli and Kolhapur to the flood water, which will help improve the water situation in Marathwada. Farmers.
He further said that the government has provided Rs 61 crore for the Dhrishneshwar temple, Rs 541 crore for the Tuljbhavani temple, and the Aundhya Nagnath scheme has been approved. About 94 buses have been provided under the Manav Development Program and 115 buses have been given to Chhatrapati Sambhinagar.
Around 916 Anganwadis have been launched, while 26,500 new self-help groups have been formed and 2.70 lakh women are connected to them.
Bharat Ratna Dr. A fund of Rs 95 crore has been distributed under the Babasaheb Ambedkar Adarsh Shala scheme.
“In addition, Rs 253 crore has been given for various monuments and temples, Rs 3,121 crore road works have been started, which are in progress,” he said.
The Chief Minister said that various works worth Rs 7,719 crore have been started in hybrid annuities and 70 percent of the Beed District Council Building have been completed.
He said, “Out of four lakh irrigation wells, 30,000 wells have been completed and work on 1.14 lakh irrigation wells has been started. The cabinet meeting was not just a formality, but work is going on to implement each decision,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also paid tribute to those who lose their lives in heavy rains and assurance that the state government will provide immediate assistance to all the people affected by heavy rains and will stand firm by farmers and villagers.
