Smoke can be seen in Edinburgh after a huge wildfire breaks on the beloved landmark Arthur’s seat.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement at 5 pm: “Crew Arthur’s seat, Holirud Park, Edinburgh is present in the open fire.
“The members of the public no longer need to alert our operational control room about this fire, as we are receiving many calls for this phenomenon.”

Arthur’s seat is a short distance away from the historic Old Town in Edinburgh at Holyrod Park, and is popular with tourists for hikes.
