‘Wife insists on drinking every day’, distraught husband goes to Cavachos police station to seek justice

A strange incident happened in Karva Chauth, Jhansi city of Uttar Pradesh. A young man complained to his wife at the Family Counseling Center established at the Women’s Police Station, saying that his wife continued to drink alcohol every day. After listening to both sides’ stories, the lady in charge of the police station finally made them understand.

In fact, the police were resolving family disputes at the family counseling center at Mahila police station in Jhansi city. During this time, a young man living in Veerangana Nagar, Jhansi, also arrived. He claimed that his wife was addicted to alcohol and started getting drunk at night.

The man claimed that his wife forced him to drink alcohol and made him drunk. The man said that because of rising inflation, he could not let his wife drink every day, but she insisted on drinking.

The victim said that he tried his best to persuade his wife, but she refused to accept it, so he was forced to come here. When information about the entire incident was obtained from Kiran Rawat, in-charge of women’s police station, over phone, he denied the existence of any such case.

However, he said the counseling center is working to reunite families. Such cases were not brought to her attention but were still under investigation. Let us tell you that on Sunday the Cavachos fast was observed in many states of the country.
