Just days after a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) crew member went missing in Canada, another Pakistani flight attendant went missing after her flight landed in Toronto on Friday.
Thursday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) stewardess Jibran Baloch Performed duties on PIA flight PK-782 but failed to be on duty on the return flight.
PIA officers searched Mr. Gibran’s hotel room only to discover that Mr. Gibran had slipped away.
This is the second incident in a week of a Pakistani aircrew going missing in a Canadian city, after Flight attendant Mariam Raza missing Monday in Toronto.
PIA crew did not return to Karachi on Tuesday to perform their duties on a flight back to Karachi.
When authorities began searching for her at her hotel, they found her PIA uniform in her room that read “Thank you, PIA.”
Why Pakistani flight attendants disappeared in Canada
The disappearances are linked to citizenship.
After Ms. Raza, officials attributed the trend to Inclusiveness in Canadian Lawallowing you to apply for asylum after entry.

Meanwhile, following Mr Gibran’s disappearance, a PIA spokesman said efforts to prevent such incidents had “failed”.
In an effort to prevent such incidents, officials have tried asking flight staff to hand over their passports to officials, but with no results.
Ms Raza’s case is the second of its kind this year, according to a spokesman for the airline. Mr Baloch’s case brings to three the number of PIA flight attendants who have “disappeared” after landing in Canada.
According to PIA, the number of PIA stewardesses and flight attendants who sneaked out after arriving in Canada last year was four.
In 2022, four PIA crew members disappeared in the country.
