Amid the increasing chaos, Bata issued a strong response, refuting claims about his alleged political affiliation. “Bata is a privately organized, a family -owned company established in the Czech Republic, which has no political relations for conflict. It is deeply regretted that some of our retail places in Bangladesh are recently subject to barbarity, apparently triggered by these false stories,” a statement has said in a statement.
Inspector General of Police, Bahrul Alam has directed officials across the country to identify and arrest people involved in barbarism. Authorities are combing through video footage to pinpoint the culprit, warning that no form of violence would be tolerated under the guise of protest.
