Whitehall Currently closed Police Check an abandoned vehicle near Downing Street.
The metropolitan police said in a statement on X, “Formally Twitter:” A cordon is in place as a precautionary measure at the southern end of the Whitehall, while the authorities check an abandoned vehicle in the area around Downing Street. “
It is understood that the civil servants working inside the whitehall are unable to leave the building, and no one is being allowed to enter.
It comes in the form of a road traffic collision, occurring shortly before Downing Street. Police said both incidents were not connected.
