The frozen division of a fast food chain is initiated the recall on 1,021 cases of 4-count cartons of its original Sliders, according to a report published Friday by the FDA.
The recall was issued after a customer informed the brand that he experienced a “non-life-threatening” allergic reaction after consuming one of the Jalapeño Cheese Sliders, which was accidentally found in a box labeled Original Sliders.
The Jalapeño Cheese Burger contains milk and soy, an allergen not listed on the original box.
Consumers who are allergic or have a severe sensitivity to any of the ingredients run the risk of “severe or life-threatening allergic reactions.”
Apart from the initial customer complaint, no further illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported.
Affected packages of sliders were shipped to retailers from August to October. According to the FDA report, these were sold primarily in convenience stores in all 50 states.
Each recalled product can be identified by UPC number 0-82988-02969-3. The recalled lot codes are 9H203521 and 9H203522 with a best by date of April 18, 2026.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the packaging was adulterated, as Cookie Butter Holiday Bark was placed in Pecan, Cranberry and Cinnamon packaging and vice versa.
Due to a packaging error, Cookie Butter barks may contain undeclared pecans, and other barks may contain undeclared wheat. The affected packages of Bark were distributed to Aldi stores across the US
Each affected product can be identified by its lot number, Cookie Butter Bark has lot number 29225 with a best by date of 5/2026 and Pecan, Cranberry and Cinnamon Flavored Bark has lot number 29225 with a best by date of 08/2026.
