This week’s streaming titles selected by AP entertainment reporters to be worth your time include: Highguard is the latest entry in the growing multiplayer shooter space, The Wrecking Crew starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista, and Shrinking Season 3 is coming to Apple TV.

— If you haven’t seen Rose Byrne’s Oscar-nominated performance in If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You , Mary Bronstein’s psychological drama is set to premiere on HBO Max on Friday, January 30. Byrne plays a nervous mother whose child is battling a mysterious illness that is never revealed. The Associated Press’s Jocelyn Novick wrote in a review that the film “gives Byrne, an actor who’s effortlessly appealing in lighter films, a chance to demonstrate versatility and grit in the toughest dramatic role of her career.”
— Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista star as estranged half-brothers who reunite after their father’s mysterious death in “The Wrecking Crew” (Prime Video, Wednesday). The action comedy is directed by Angel Manuel Soto, who produced 2023’s “Blue Beetle.”
— A major nominee for the Independent Film Spirit Award, Ira Sachs’s “Peter Hujar’s Day” is a miracle of historic and intimate dramatic resurrection. The film (Criterion Channel, Tuesday) is based on 1974 interviews with writer Linda Rosencrantz (Rebecca Hall) and her friend, photographer Peter Hujar (Ben Whishaw). Rosencrantz plans to write a book about how artists spend their time. But the book never happened, and Sacks dramatized their conversation after seeing the transcript.
——In “I am Chevy Chase Filmmaker Marina Zenovich profiles the cantankerous “Saturday Night Live” and “Fletch” star. In the film (HBO Max, Saturday, January 31), Zenovich interviews the complex and sometimes combative comedian about his career and gets a glimpse into his daily life. — Benedict, the second-eldest Bridgerton child, takes center stage in Season 4 of the Netflix romance series, which tells the love story of an extended family in Regency London. Season 4 is full of “Cinderella” vibes, with Luke Thompson’s Benedict searching for a charming “Woman in Silver” who is actually Sophie (Yerin Ha), the maid who works for the family. Part 1 will air on Thursday, with the remaining episodes airing in February.
— “Shrinking” Season 3 will premiere on Apple TV on Wednesday. Jason Segel plays a therapist named Jimmy, the widowed father of a teenage girl, who shares therapy experiences with characters played by Harrison Ford and Jessica Williams. — Highguard is the latest entry in the growing field of multiplayer shooters, offering another way to connect with friends and blow stuff up. In this case, you’re the Watchers – “arcane gunners sent to fight for control of a mysterious continent.” Judging from the trailer, you’ll be able to ride mythical beasts and wield magical powers along with your typical arsenal of weapons. It comes from a new studio called Wildlight Entertainment, whose founders have made popular games like Call of Duty, Apex Legends and Titanfall. And it’s free to play, so you might as well give it a try on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox X/S on Monday.
— Bandai Namco’s 2019 Code Vein attempts to answer this question: What happens if you take Dark Souls’ high-difficulty combat and add vampires to the mix? Vampires – known here as the undead – are back in Codex II, but a mysterious force is turning them into mindless monsters.
