A new trend possibly possessing you tiktok feed, people announced that they had been placed in the exclusive “Group 7”.
But what does “Group 7” actually mean, and how do you know you’re part of it?
it all started with the singer Sophie James is posting a series of videos of herself tiktok The account was created last week to promote her song, “So Unfair.” After posting three videos, two about getting a parking ticket and one about how she’s “always winning,” she shared a fourth video to her fans.
“If you’re watching this you’re in group 4,” she wrote in text above the video, with “So Unfair” playing in the background. “I’ve been posting a lot of videos and seeing which video gets the most viewers. This is the 4th post of the batch, so you’re in group 4.”
In the next two videos, she said that the fans who watched them were part of either “Group 5” or “Group 6”. James concluded his series with a seventh video, in which he informed viewers that he was part of “Group 7”.
“I’ve posted seven videos tonight and this is the seventh. Just a little science experiment to see what kind of videos get the most reach,” he said. “I don’t know what it says about you, but you’re in Group 7! Welcome!”
In the comments of that clip, which has received over 15 million views, TikTok users declared that “Group 7” was the best of the group.
One commented, “I declare that Group 7 is the most exclusive group,” while another quipped: “Can you imagine not being Group 7.”
A third wrote: “Put all the villains in group 7.”
A fourth commented: “I’m afraid group 7 is the best group.”
Meanwhile, many TikTok users have shared their own videos to celebrate the fact that they are in group seven.
