What is at stake for Blue Jais, the Yankise series as Gurroo Junior opens

Web Desk, 21/07/202521/07/2025

Second time of this monthNew York Yankis will visit the Rogers Center. And, once again, there is a lot at stake.

The last time after visiting Yankeez, there was a late season energy for the Games, as the Bik-Out crowd saw Toronto Blue Jas Sweep New York to overtake the first place in the American League East in early July. This time, there will not be a lead change, as Blue Jes will maintain a part of the first even when the New York sweep, but the series still represents an important opportunity for both teams.

For Yankis, a portion of the first place is within access – but with a strong performance, Blue Jas can create even more distance between them and Yankis, which now pass through 3.0 games.

“They are clearly a very good team,” said John Schneider, manager of Blue Jais. “In the context of messaging, I don’t think I need to say a lot for this (Blue Jais) group. We have really worked hard to reach this point, and I think we just have to play our game.”

“But I am sure it will be a fun chain for fans.”

Keeping this in mind, there are some developing storylines here that monitor Monday before the pitch.

Pitching decisions reflect high bets

It is probably not a coincidence that Yenkis prepared Carlos Roden to start against Blue Jais instead of using it in the recently completed weekend series against Atlanta. This is certainly understanding something to use the Al-Star Left-Hand with the 3.08 ERA against the team in front of you in standing, and Blue Jas is also likely to face Max Fried.

In the case of Fried, a blister issue has delayed the onset of its second half, so it is a large part of the causes of pitching in Toronto. Nevertheless, facing the top two pitches of New York will make this series more challenging for Blue like.

Meanwhile, Blue Jais will start Kevin Gausamman, Max Shezer and Chris Baisit this week, but it is no modest for Eric Lawyer and Jose Barrios, which will be needed over the weekend against tigers in a series, which may be implications for a possible first round in playoffs.

This is very clear, however: Blue Jais made Jeff Hoffman unavailable on Sunday, to ensure that he would be a day to rest before facing Yenkis this week.

Trade time limit develops

Both teams should be motivated to buy trading time limits, and teams are also likely to start pitching, bullpense help and similar requirements with third base and are likely to be an area of interest for general managers Brian Cashman and Ross Atkins.

In theory, team business candidates like Diamondback can play Blue Jas and Yencis against each other with business candidates Zack Gallen, Meril Kelly and even Eugi Suarez – but it is probably difficult that it seems to create a feeling of frustration in front offices.

Executive officers try to be measured in making their decisions, and instead of saying that they have to get a special player, the front office officials often prefer, “whatever we can get, we can meet with the collection of possibilities we are ready to give.” Like Blue Jas, Yankey is measured and analytical when it comes to their decision making, meaning that those teams are usually difficult to manipulate the dialect wars.

Gurero Junior Builds on Big Day

In recent weeks, while Vladimir Gurero has been struggling in a junior plate, he has often made his way for batting cages after sports, a time when players are usually going home to rest. Now, given, it should be expected that whatever professional players can do, especially if they have signed a $ 500 million contract, but their colleagues have still appreciated the effort.

“He is still a human like everyone in that club house, and we have ups and downs,” said Starter Berios. “But one thing I have seen with him is that he always works really hard.”

These post-game hitting sessions also reveal that Gurro Junior believes that he is able to more to help Blue Jais. On Sunday, that work started paying, as they gave a domestic run, one walk and an RBI single, not to mention their most difficult-free ball of the day, out of the line of 111.3 mph in the fifth innings.

To play on Monday, Gurero Junior is hitting 13 domestic runs and a .824 OPS. 278 – good numbers that are still behind their career norms. .859 with OPS. 287 and 31 home runs per 162 games. Facing the Aaron Judge and Yankis, Gurero Junior will get a chance to build on that performance.

“I hope,” the shniner said. “Vlad is always there. You look up, and some people say that their number is pedestrians for their own standards, but they are still really working hard (and) The quality of their et-bats is really good. If (Sunday) go to him and hit the ball in a little air, it is fine by me.”

Jays enjoy the last chance at home

After this series, Blue Jais will not host New York again in this regular season, but this is the right time to play at the Rogers Center, as they have won their last 10 domestic games with sweeps on Yankhes, Angels and veterans.

In fact, Blue Jais will not see New York at all until the beginning of September, when Blue Jais visited the Yanki Stadium for three games to wrap the season series. After that, any matchup will only be in the post-season, where both these franchises have to play each other yet.
