Weekend needs: Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade, Weld Music Festival among events

Get ready to dance on annual Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade On Saturday, among other ceremonies, this civil holiday for long weeksD.

Toronto Caribbean Carnival

Hold your costumes and go to Lakeshore on Saturday for a grand parade. This exhibition is from 8 am to 8 pm in the place and lake noise bullet.

Weld music festival

The annual electronic concert is back to DownsView Park later this week. Painted artists include Aleso, Dedmau 5, John Summit, Loud Luxury and Tiesto.

Tickets are still available For full weekend festival. The concert starts at 1 pm on Friday.

Scarboro ribfest

Delicious ribs, hot dogs and corn will be ready on the cob Skarborough Ribfest later this week,

There will also be performance, midway riding, and more, all were inserted by Rotary Club of Scarborough.

It will run from Friday to Monday, and the festival will stop at 11 am

Toronto Food Truck Festival

30 to 50 food trucks will be held at Woodbine Park later this week, which will be to share the signature dishes at the annual Toronto Food Truck Festival.

TTC/Go Transit Closure

Line 2 late opening (Sunday)

The metro service on Line 2 between St. George and Chester stations will be replaced by shuttle buses between 8 am and 11 am on Sunday for structural maintenance. Subway service is expected to start by 11 am

Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade

Lake Shor Bulleward West on Saturday at 12 noon on traffic from West Bound Streche Avenue to Park shouldoid drive, and the lake noise bullet from Calbourne Lodge Drive to Streche Avenue East

The doors of princes for vehicle traffic starting at 1 pm on Saturday will remain closed.

Due to the closure of the following road, it will be effective from 12 am to 7 am on Saturday:

  • Lake noise from Fort York Bulleward to Kolbourne Lodge Drive West
  • Fleet Street to Strencing Avenue Southbound
  • Lake Shore Boleward will be open to west only between West Bathst Bathst Street and Fort York Bullewards only for local traffic

The following Gardiner Expressway ramps will be closed at 12 noon on Saturday:

  • Westbound Gardiner Expressway on the ramp in Jameson Avenue
  • Eastbound Gardiner Expressway from Ramp in Jameson Avenue
  • Eastbound Gardiner Expressway on the ramp from Jameson Avenue, and Lake Shor Boleward West on British Columbia Road
  • Dun Avenue at West Bound Gardiner Expressway of Ramp

The following roads will be limited to local traffic only:

  • Dufferin Street South of King Street West
  • Dolling Avenue south of King Street West
  • Stadium Road to South of Lake Shor Bulleward West
  • Queens Que West to West of Bathst Street
  • Springharst Avenue, East and West of Jameson Avenue
  • Remind campaign

Other roads, although not limited to vehicles, will be strictly implemented for parking violations. These roads include South of King Street West, East of Kolbourne Lodge Drive and west of Bathst Street.

Toronto police say that all vehicles including tour buses were illegally parked on the following roads and will be tagged:

  • Lake Shor Bulleward West (including grassy area)
  • Bathers
  • Fleet Street
  • King Street West
  • Queen Street West
  • Ronsevless avenue
  • Dufferin Street
  • Queensway

In the Parkdale area and in the stadium road area illegally parked vehicles will be tagged and tagged.

Gardiner Expressway Closure

  • By August, Blue Jais Way is closed between Front Street and Navy Wharf Court by August. Local access is maintained.
