Close those ribs with some salsa on the beach at the end of this week. Keep in mind, there are some subway closures.

Salsa on the beach

Get ready to donate your dancing shoes on Woodbine Beach at the end of this week for Salsa on the beach. The event is part of the beach Jazz Festival and will include Latin tunes of Salsa, Merangue and Kumbia on the dance floor.

Food trucks, vendors and a beer garden will also be treated.

Admission is free, and the event is closed at 7 pm on Friday, a full lineup can be found On their website.

Downtown toronto ribfest

Annual Downtown toronto ribfest This is happening in Sankofa Square at the end of this week.

The festival and barback will start at 12 noon on Friday, and all will run over the weekends. This is free entry for all those who are participating to taste some prize winner barbacks.

Mixt Festival

Music, art, food and fun will be the name of the game for the Mixto Festival to be held at Trilium Park later this week.

It is an independent, an event of live music, DJ set, establishment by local artists and classification of food and drinks.

TTC/Go Transit Closure

Line closed 1 day – Saturday

The metro service on Line 1 between Finch and Aglinton stations will be replaced by shuttle buses by the end of the service on Saturday, July 12 at 2 am on Saturday, July 12, for maintenance maintenance.

Line 1 day closed – Sunday

Temporary off

  • The TTC’s King Station is reduced to add the new lift to the new lift by both ways between Wellington and King for underground work at the TTC station. Construction is expected to continue in 2026.
