The sky will be mainly clear in Delhi today, October 14, with the maximum temperature expected to be between 31 to 33 degrees Celsius and minimum to be between 18-20 degrees Celsius. According to IMD, the minimum temperature in the national capital on Monday was recorded at 19 degrees Celsius and maximum at 32.6 degrees Celsius. According to IMD, the sky is expected to remain clear and sunny in Delhi in the coming days.
Light to moderate rain in South India
During October 14-19, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely over South India, with isolated heavy falls over some areas. Particularly, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Mahe will see similar weather patterns during the entire period.
Similar conditions can be expected over South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam till October 16, with Lakshadweep affected on October 17 and 18. Moreover, storm with lightning and strong winds with speed of 30-40 kmph is expected in the region in the next 4-5 days.
West India weather update
IMD said thunderstorms with lightning are expected over Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra between October 14 and 17 and Marathwada between October 14 and 16.
There is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in eastern and northeastern states.
According to recent weather updates, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in parts of eastern and central India this week. Notably, Chhattisgarh is likely to receive rain and thundershowers today and tomorrow, October 14 and 15.
Vidarbha region is expected to see similar conditions for three days till October 16.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility of thunderstorm with lightning in Odisha on October 14 and 15.
