Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Satar expressed grief over CloudBust in Kishtwar on Friday, stating that more than 46 people had lost their lives and many others were injured.
Talking to Annie, Sharma said, “… We will never forget tomorrow’s incident throughout our life. More than 46 people have lost their lives in this incident, and we pray to God that this figure does not go up. Many people have been injured.
“Our MLA also went to the hospital in Jammu in the morning. About 46 Shradalu who have been injured are being treated. I only want to pray to God that those who have been injured are cured as soon as possible … There should be a sharp process through administration because there is a need for water. There is a lot of water needed. We have sent some vehicles;
Sharma also urged the administration to take the matter seriously. He said, “There is a need for many such things that are needed immediately, such as medicines, water and food. We will also try, and the administration should make arrangements for these things.”
He further said that he would reach the site, along with three MLAs, two district presidents, party workers and the entire team. “… and with administration, we will try to bring back as many people safely,” he said.
On Thursday, a large -scale Claudbsts triggered a flash flood in the installment, Jammu and Kashmir, along with the route of Machal Mata Yatra, causing more than 45 people to die. Rescue operations in the area are in full swing, and tragedy victims are being treated in district hospitals. (AI)
