Bangalore, 2 October (IANS) commented on recent statements by the State Congress leaders to share the post of CM between him and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for equal terms, Karnataka Congress President and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar said that no one has the right to speak on the matter and “We will not” “we will not” “we will not” “.
Speaking to the media after the Gandhi Jayati incident at the KPCC office, Shivkumar responded to reporters’ questions and issued a clear warning on Thursday.
“Anyone is speaking about power-sharing, indulging in anti-party activity. Talking about it harms the party,” he said.
Shivkumar appealed to all party members to refrain from discussing the issue, stating that such comments harm the party’s image in the state.
He said, “No one has the right to speak on the power-sharing case-which includes Kunigal Congress MLA Ranganath. I have directed him to issue a notice,” he said.
He said, “There is no discussion on power-sharing. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has already issued a statement. Nobody should talk about it. Those who continue to talk on the issue are harming the party’s reputation,” he said.
He said, “Whether someone speaks in my favor or in support of CM Siddaramaiah, it still harms the party. Any such statement contains the amount of anti -party activity,” he insisted.
Shivkumar reiterated that CM Siddaramaiah has clearly stated that the decision of high command is final. “We will follow the decision of high command. For us, party is more important than individuals,” he said.
He also said on the media, “Don’t try to put words in my mouth. I am not a fool.”
Digging the opposition, he said, “BJP leaders let their own internal issues argue. I wish him fate for fixing the affairs of my party.”
“I have directed KPCC Executive Chairman GC Chandrashekar to issue notices to all who have talked about the matter of sharing power. I myself say that no one should speak about it. Even though CM Siddaramaiah clearly said it clearly, some media outlets have presented it wrongly.
Earlier, talking at the Gandhi Jayanti program, he said, “Without discipline in the party, it cannot survive.”
Asked if the decision of the high command is final, he replied, “Has Siddaramaiah himself not said that we will follow the instructions of the high command? His word is final. For us, the party is the highest. We are disciplined soldiers who say the party.”
Reacting to the claims of BJP leaders that the “revolution of November” within the Congress has been fixed, he said, “Let the BJP leaders talk about the revolutions within their party. Let them fix their internal issues and set your house in order if necessary. I will also send them a tailor to help them sew together. Let them focus on their problems.”
Asked about BJP leaders organizing programs in RSS uniform on the occasion of RSS century, he replied, “Let them operate their party events. Why should I be worried? You are interested in it; we are not.”
“Our ideology is based on the nation, on freedom, and on Gandhiji’s ideas. We remember ‘Ishwar, Allah Tere Naam’. Will BJP leaders say ‘Allah’? Is they following Gandhiji’s message? Even our national songs, all communities – Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Parsi, Jain have been mentioned.
“It says that India is a garden of peace for all communities. The foundation of this country is built on such inclusive ideologies. BJP cannot escape these truths. They have to stay with them,” he concluded.
