Rajasthan Minister Jawahar Singh Bedam said on Thursday that all the departments of the state have been instructed to take necessary precautions amid increasing tension between India and Pakistan after the launch of Operation Sindoor.
Speaking to ANI, Bedam insisted that the state government is responsible for taking precautions as Rajasthan is a border state.
“Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a high-level meeting yesterday and instructed all departments to take all precautions. We have a border state, and it was our responsibility to take all kinds of precautions. Our government’s job is to make the people aware.
Certainly, our internal security is also strong, and we are fully prepared to make any arrangements deployed to our soldiers, ”Jawahar Bedam said.
On Wednesday, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma held a high-level meeting to discuss the ongoing situation. The Rajasthan government had earlier said that the state was on “alert mode” and special instructions were given to the administration of the border districts in the state.
The Chief Secretary also appealed to the general public to be vigilant, not to pay attention to rumors and rely only on official information.
Meanwhile, an all-party meeting is going on in the national capital at Parliament Annexe Building on Operation Sindoor. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave information about political parties on India’s action on cross -border terrorism.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister JP Nadda, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha Lop Rahul Gandhi are among many others participating in the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the country has taken a “big action”, for which all parties will be informed about the operation, which is the responsibility of the government.
He further said that the entire nation stands with the Indian Armed Forces.
“Our country has taken a major action. We have called for an all-party meeting on Operation Sindoor, which was organized by our armed forces.
All these Indian forces on Wednesday made accurate attacks on nine terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir under Operation Sindore. (AI)
