Indian Grandmasters D Gukesh and Arjun Erigasi will not lack any inspiration to go after Magnus Carlsen, who will be ready for such a confrontation in the Norway Chess starting next month, he feels the famous Vishwanathan Anand. A total of four Indian players – Gukesh, Erigasi, R Vaidi and Konaru Hampi – will participate in the incident of Norway chess, which will be held in Stavenger City from 26 May to 6 June. ,
“Both Gukesh and Arjuna will not lack inspiration or determination to go after Magnus. But Magnus is highly motivated by our youth if I can still say them.” He said, “He is very inspired by the challenge. I mean I have seen him in many tournaments whether it is Kolkata or the world Rapid Blitz. He is curiously ready for these conflicts and hence we have the right storm,” he said.
Anand said that the presence of four Indians in the incident tells about the growth of chess in the country.
“Surely from the men, the Indian chess is as strong as it is ever, and even more clearly due to the depth. But it is great that Hampi is still successfully competing successfully and she will join with Vary.” Talking about innovations like Confession Booth and Armagadon – a tie breaker ends in a draw after a classical game – Anand said that there should be no many innovations other than two of them.
“If you have too much in a tournament, it gets distracted and there is a kind of surcharge. Armagadon is good because it gives some something to look forward to the end of the game if the game is ending in a draw.
“I don’t know that we have received the right price for an armgan game. What happened, 2–1 and then it’s a little more, we are still tweeting the number.” There may also be some formulas that will give Armagaden a little more importance for overall scores. “Be hard.
“I was not used it, and because I competed more than 40 … 38 years or something without a confessional booth, when it was finally introduced I never missed to go there.
“It’s not that I didn’t want to go; I really thought it was fun and I should try but I got stuck in my game and I never went there.” “I don’t know if this is happening with Prague (R Pragnanandha) and Gukesh and Arjun.
