Jammu, 30 April: In a major push to improve human resource management in the Water Power Department, the government today raised 368 junior engineers as assistant engineers.
According to the Government Order No. 103-JK (JSD) of 2025, 30-04-2025 and Government Order No. 104-JK (JSD) 2025 dated 30-04-2025, 368 JES has been promoted to the post of Assistant Engineers.
The Minister of Water Power, Javed Ahmed Rana, who has been very special about improving the disappointing HR landscape in water power, issued clear directions to JSD to regular review of the HR landscape and reviewed the conduct of DPC at the time of DPC to overcome the shortage of officers.
Recently 25 Xens has been placed as Superintendent Engineers to overcome the shortage of more than 90% of vacancies at the level of SES. Additionally, more than 300 vacancies were sent to JKSSB for recruitment.
After the height of 368 Jess, Rana has directed the immediate referral of the vacancies earned as a result of the height of Jess to recruit agencies for fast-track recruitment through special recruitment drives.
