Katie Porter (or as some of you called her “Katie Porker”) somehow, against all odds, is the front-runner in the race for CA governor.

With a face and a personality only her mother could love, she’s somehow the front-runner in the CA governor’s race, and surely there’s no rigging or interference of any kind in this, right?

Anyway, I digress.

Katie Porter, flawed I mean Katie Porter has been in the news a lot this past week not for her great campaign but for some pretty terrible videos that have gone viral.

Man, I firmly believe she’d take your head off like a praying mantis if she thought she could get away with it!

And it’s not like those were the only two bad moments…

Hey, we all have bad moments, I get it! But it seems that this woman has a permanently bad temper.

And of course there was also this (which I would strongly argue never happened):

“What if I become an adult and need an abortion?”

So after all these really viral clips, Porter finally had to be confronted about it.

She was asked whether she had what it takes to become the next governor of California.

Correct Answer: Absolutely not!

Her answer: “I could have handled things better.”

Lorenzo: This is your first time speaking publicly since the two now-viral videos. What do you want people to know about you, and do you have what it takes to be California’s next governor?

Porter: When I look at those videos, I want people to know that I understand I could have handled things better.

I think I’m known as someone who is able to handle tough questions, who is willing to answer questions, and I want people to know that I really value the incredible work that my staff can do.

I think people who know me know I can be strict, but I need to do a better job of expressing appreciation for the amazing work of my team.

I like to watch body language because it almost never lies.

Watch that video again and notice that her head is shaking “no” the entire time she’s talking and (somehow?) apologizing.

Friends, it is a big mistake to not believe a single word of what she is saying.

And she has so much cognitive dissonance in her own body that her body literally needs to block it out so her head is unconsciously shaking “no” the whole time because she doesn’t even believe a word she’s saying!
