A suspect is wanted after the police said that a man was pushed by his bike in an alleged hatred-inspired attack near the junction triangle.
The Toronto Police was called to report an attack at Bloor Street West and Simington Avenue around 4 am on 27 June.
The victim was riding his bike when the suspect allegedly pushed him. The suspect then allegedly attacked the victim, allegedly shouting the anti-black slurs and threatening the victim.
The suspect then allegedly took the victim’s bike. The victim suffered non-janleva injuries.
The suspect was described as a light skinned man, 20–30 years old, five feet eight inches and was wearing a black backward baseball cap, white shirt, dark pants, white shoes.
The Toronto Police is allegedly considering the attack as hate-inspired and the investigation is being led by a hatred crime unit.
