When Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday, all eyes will be on Virat Kohli. The two teams also met last weekend, with Kohli’s RCB defeating Shubman Gill’s GT in a one-sided encounter in Ahmedabad. Kohli, who is under question for his strike-rate, scored an unbeaten 70 off 44 balls, but it was Will Jacques who caught everyone’s attention when he scored an unbeaten 100 off just 41 balls. Jacques scored his first 50 in 31 balls, but it took him just 10 balls to cross the triple figure.

Ahead of their return leg against GT, Kohli and some RCB players attended an event. However, a video of Kohli dancing while entering the room has taken the internet by storm.

In the viral video, Kohli is seen dancing with RCB captain Faf du Plessis while getting a shoulder massage.

Kohli is in tremendous form in the current IPL. He is currently the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament with 500 runs in 10 matches.

He is only nine runs behind CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad in the Orange Cap list. Kohli’s form in the remaining matches of the tournament will be important not only for RCB but also for Team India as he has been selected in the 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar recently spoke openly on the ongoing debate regarding Kohli’s strike-rate.

“We are not discussing Kohli’s strike-rate. There is a difference between IPL and international cricket. You need experience. We have enough balance and strength in the team. You see and take positives from what is happening in the IPL. Try to take it.” The pressure of a World Cup game is different,” Ajit Agarkar downplays criticism of Virat Kohli’s strike-rate.

There is a debate on whether Kohli should open the batting during the T20 World Cup. Addressing the conversation, India captain Rohit neither confirmed nor denied it.

“All options are open. We have not decided yet, there is no guarantee and we will go there to West Indies and depending on the conditions we will decide the playing eleven,” Rohit said during a press conference.
