A day after unveiling their official jersey for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) also unveiled their special ‘green’ jersey at an event in Chennai. RCB captain Faf du Plessis, star batsman Virat Kohli, all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and pacer Mohammad Siraj were present at the event and unveiled the special jersey. However, he was shocked when Fife exploded near him. The RCB captain turned away after being stunned by the group.
Seeing Faf’s reaction, Kohli and Maxwell couldn’t help laughing and mocked Faf.

RCB showcased their IPL 2024 match kit at an unboxing event held at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday.
During the game, RCB also changed its name from Royal Challengers Bangalore to Royal Challengers Bangalore, marking the beginning of a new era.
At the Unbox event, the RCB men’s team provided a guard of honor for the women’s team as they emerged victorious in the WPL.
Kohli hopes to emulate the women’s team and add the IPL trophy to the team’s cupboard in the upcoming IPL tournament.
“It’s absolutely amazing. We were all watching when they won the WPL title. Hopefully we can double the trophy and it will be something really special,” Kohli said at the RCB Unbox event at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium .
Kohli, who will start his 17th season with RCB in IPL 2024, said he will rely on his skills and experience to turn his dream of winning the IPL trophy this year into a reality.
“My dream is to know what it feels like to win the IPL trophy. I will come here and be part of the team that wins the trophy for the first time.
“I will try my best and use my abilities and experience to do this for the fans and the team,” the former RCB captain said.
The RCB team arrived in Chennai on Wednesday and are ready to take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2024 opener on Friday.
CSK is the defending champion of IPL.
