CCTV footage from a Taiwanese hospital has surfaced online, showing nurses in the neonatal ward heroically rushing into incubators to protect babies during the recent earthquake. The video captures the nurses quickly grabbing the newborn’s crib to ensure the safety of the trembling baby.
The video shows a dramatic scene in the delivery room. When the building began to shake, four staff members jumped into action. Their priority is clear: protect vulnerable newborns. They scrambled to steady the cradle, keeping an eye on nearby windows, a potential source of flying debris that could endanger the babies. British Broadcasting Corporation.

Social media has been flooded with videos and images from across the island shared by people who experienced the earthquake.
In one video, a man is seen struggling to exit a rooftop swimming pool as the water swirls violently. In another photo, a webcam captured three cats running wildly as they rocked from side to side in the apartment.
A powerful earthquake struck Taiwan on Wednesday, killing at least nine people, injuring more than 1,000 and damaging dozens of buildings, and a tsunami warning was extended to Japan and the Philippines before it was lifted.
Dozens of people are believed to be safe but inaccessible in areas cut off by massive landslides triggered by the earthquake – many working in tunnels that cut through the mountain range that bisects the island from north to south middle.
