Jaipur, 23 September (IANS) Between the 10-day Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav at the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Kaliberi, Jodhpur, the Vishwashanti Mahayagna was performed inside the campus in the presence of hundreds of devotees.
Vedic mantras and mantras resonated in the devotional environment at the BAPS temple, while hundreds of families demonstrated Agnihotra (Agni Sacrifice) in Yagna.
Giving his blessings on this occasion, the spiritual guru Mahanta Swami Maharaj said that Yagna will increase religious sentiments, benefit everyone.
He said, “The biggest benefit is the feeling of God, which we have not got in a glimpse but in a person. This experience should be enjoyed in every moment of life.”
In particular, Akshardham Temple in Jodhpur, yet another spiritual miracle of BAPS Swaminarayan Sansya, has been slated to organize its consecration (Pran Pratisha) on 25 September.
The evening gathering was held as “History Day”. The assembly began with bhajan and bhajan. Subsequently, Adarshivan Swamiji, a learned saint, is wide on the essence of Yagya and described it as a divine means of self-purification and social service.
The meeting showed a grand dialogue presentation on the theme “Rajasthan’s saga” theme by a group of children and youth from Rajasthan and Gujarat.
It concluded with Aarti and emotional performance. Director of IIT Jodhpur, Vice Chancellor of Jodhpur University, and Vice Chancellor of Bikaner University, Sumant Vyas, were present as special guests and described the festival as inspiring for society and culture.
A grand procession will be organized for two days of Vishwashanti Mahayagna, with divine idols, which are on five magnificent and artistic decorated chariots, will travel through the main roads of Jodhpur city.
The procession will start from Ravana Chabutara at 3 pm and pass through the major intersections of the city. It will see children, women and youth wearing traditional dress, and devotees sing bhajans and kirtans. The Shobha Yatra will present a unique glimpse of Indian and Rajasthani culture.
