Light rains entered the plains, while hailstorms wreaked havoc in the northern parts of Kashmir on Thursday, in which Vedarman predicted unstable weather till Saturday.

He said that continuous cloud cover would maintain day temperature below seasonal average.
Meanwhile, Keng said that intense rainfall may trigger landslides, shooting stones on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
“Cloudbers and Cloud to Ground Lightning Strike is possible,” he said, saying that the rainy time and intensity will vary from the region to the region.
