Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir, Professor Nilofar Khan, called the Minister of Education, Social Welfare and Health and Medical Education, Sekena Itu at the Civil Secretariat here today.
Professor Nilofar Khan informed the Minister of the upcoming three -day visit of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team from 29 to 31 May.
The Vice Chancellor also informed the minister on the recent educational reforms and research initiatives made by the university. He highlighted the limits of courses being offered in the university’s satellite complexes, which laid special emphasis on emerging areas such as artificial intelligence.
Sakeena iToo appreciated the efforts of the university in pursuing educational excellence and promoting innovation in the entire region. He assured the Vice Chancellor of full support of the government in further strengthening the mission of the institute.
The minister also greeted the upcoming NAAC journey and expressed confidence that Kashmir University would secure the highest recognition grade.
