At the same time, it awakened in the revolutionaries the spirit of unwavering dedication, pride and sacrifice for the motherland,” HM Shah wrote in Hindi (translated).
He said that the song “ignites the eternal flame of nationalism in the hearts of the countrymen” and remains a source of unity and new energy.
He said, “Vande Mataram is burning the eternal flame of nationalism in the hearts of the countrymen and even today remains a source of unity, patriotism and new energy among the youth. Our unique national song ‘Vande Mataram’ is turning 150 this year.

“Let us, on the occasion of commemoration of this great song, sing its full version collectively with our family members, so that this song remains an inspiration for the generations to come. Vande Mataram!” He added.
