In late November, 35-year-old Elleshia Anne Seymour allegedly took her four children to Salt Lake City International Airport, take a one-way flight to amsterdam before continuing Croatia.
Officers with the West Jordan Police Department charged Seymour with four counts of custodial interference and removal of a child out of state, a third-degree felony, ABC4 Utah the report said.

Kendall wrote: “Ellie forged passport documents for the children, left a note with a false message from God promising she would arrive in Italy before Christmas, and left a to-do list that said ‘Shred paperwork, destroy ID photos, throw away cell phone, buy a prepaid cell phone.'”
“I know someone who was sent abroad when they were 8 years old and they didn’t speak the language, and they strongly recommended that we pick them up in person. It minimized the trauma.
“If we can get to the scene as soon as possible after the mum is arrested, they will feel safer and less distressed by worrying about what will happen to them, their mum and their future.”
On December 2, officers from the West Jordan Police Department conducted a welfare check at Eleshiya’s home and found that the door was unlocked and no one was home.
Police also said Elleshia had been uncontactable since November 29 and further accused her of discussing forging passports and leaving the country with her ex-boyfriend.
Airport footage showed Eleshia boarding the plane with her four children, and she allegedly left a voicemail for one of her ex-husbands, saying she was taking the children because the “end” was coming.
The Utah Department of Public Safety issued endangered and missing warnings for the four children on Dec. 10.
Landon Hal Seymour, 10, Levi Parker Seymour, 8, Hazel Rae Seymour, 7, and Jacob Kurt Brady, 3, are still missing.
Kendall added that his ex-wife has not yet been found, but said the FBI is working to bring the children home as soon as possible.
“As a result of this traumatic experience, any funds received over and above the cost of the flight will be used for needed treatment. I sincerely hope the children are found soon and we can pick them up while they still think they are on holiday,” Kendall added.
