US: Texas continues amid improvement in weather as rescue as more than 100 dead in floods

More than 100 people have lost their lives due to horrific floods in Central Texas in the US, state officials continue to operate rescue as the dry weather forecasts for the coming days, as stated by CNN on Tuesday.

According to CNN, the most heaviest affected areas have Camp Mystic, a Christian all-gourd summer camp located with the Gwadalupa River in Ker County, which has been confirmed by campers and consultants in floods, while 10 campers and unacceptable for a counselor.

Ker County Sheriff Larry Litha said that a total of 75 people have died in county -48 adults and 27 children. Many children were participating in the Camp Mystic during the victim’s disaster. CNN reported that search efforts are on, which is missing 24 persons across the state.

In Travis County, including the capital of Austin, seven are reported to be deadly and ten others are missing, CNN cited local authorities.

In Williamson County, Sheriff Matthew Lindman confirmed that two people had died in the area and said that one of the victims was recovered on Sunday (local time).

Texas Governor Greg Abbott today stated that more than 20 state agencies are actively involved in emergency response, working around the clock to detect the remaining people and assess the entire range of damage.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service officials hope that the pattern of the serious weather will be reduced by Monday night (local time), which will reduce the rainfall significantly.

CNN reported that with some scattered rainfall and thunder on Tuesday afternoon, they do not expect a threat to a major flood.
The drying situation is estimated to continue by the end of the week, some relief is offered to the flood -stricken areas.
