Massachusetts General Hospital surgeons successfully transplant pig kidney into living patient
Washington:
A team of surgeons has successfully transplanted a pig kidney into a living patient for the first time, Massachusetts General Hospital said Thursday.
The four-hour surgery was performed on a 62-year-old man with end-stage renal disease on Saturday, the hospital said.
