One of the men walks up to the hotel entrance and begins talking to Mr. Benavides, before snatching his watch, as his two companions join in. In the scuffle, the three managed to get rid of their watches before fleeing the scene.
Mr Benavides, founder of Ideas Events, shared the footage as “a little cautionary tale for my fellow passengers”, adding that the group “scouted him” as he was leaving the cab.
