Uri incident: The body of the last missing person recovered, toll 3

In a joint operation done today, the body of the last missing person was successfully recovered from a recent drowning incident at Gantamulla Power Canal in Boniyar.

The deceased has now been identified as Meenaz Rashid Shah, son of Rashid, a resident of Khanyar in Srinagar.

Recovery was made possible through coordinated efforts by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Baramullah, Fire and Emergency Services and Civil Defense URI.

In the same way, four family members, including two minors, slipped into the water canal of the lower Jhelum hydroelectric project. However, only one of them was identified as Syed Mohammed Ilas.

The Mehnaz body of Ahmed bin Khalid, son of Khalid Mehraj Shah of Hydera, was recovered this morning.

Immediately after late Sunday night incident, the 13 -year -old body was recovered.
