Uttar Pradesh’s Shivcharan Inter College has appointed Sophie, a sari-clad humanoid robot equipped with an LLM chipset, as its latest instructor to bring artificial intelligence (AI) into everyday teaching.
“Hello kids…” Sophie each time introduces herself as Kriti, an AI teacher and the creation of Aditya, a 17-year-old student at the school. “I am an AI teacher robot. My name is Sophie, and I was invented by Aditya.

When asked who was the first President of India, the AI teacher immediately replied, “Rajendra Prasad.” In a video showcasing his knowledge and interactive abilities, he can be seen answering several questions in Hindi.
Sophie answered a variety of questions, from solving mathematical problems to sharing historical facts and explaining scientific concepts like electricity. The robot teacher will also confidently claim that he can teach the children properly.
