Before the holy festival of Diwali, bonus will be provided to 14.82 lakh state employees of the state.
Employees up to Pay Matrix Level-8 will receive a bonus of up to ₹6,908 per eligible employee based on 30 days’ emoluments.

As per the order of the Finance Department issued under the direction of the Chief Minister, productivity related bonus has been approved for the eligible employees. Bonus will be calculated at the limit of maximum monthly emoluments 7,000 and an amount equal to 30 days’ emoluments Rs 6,908 per employee.
CM said that the bonus will bring happiness to the families of the employees and will infuse new energy into the administration. He has directed the officials to ensure timely distribution so that all the families can celebrate Diwali with happiness.
The bonus will cover full-time non-gazetted employees up to Pay Matrix Level 8.47,600-r1,51,100) with grade pay up to 4,800. This also includes employees of state departments, state-aided educational and technical institutions, local bodies, district panchayats and in-charges and daily wage earners of government departments, the statement said.
