Hugo, who was born on September 3 to parents Penelope and Jahari, can also be seen getting closer to the camera as he curiously inspects the camera after a splash in the water.
He is the first pygmy hippo to be born at the zoo and weighed 11 pounds. A public naming contest was held to determine the name of the beloved animal, in which Hugo emerged victorious.
