An 11-year-old girl was suffocated to death in a village in UP’s Firozabad district on Saturday, according to police reports.

According to an official statement, the little girl’s death is believed to have been caused by her female neighbor. The victim, Tulsi, was strangled to death during a fight with her neighbors in Raipura village.

City police chief Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said Tulsi had an argument with Manish’s wife Ruby, who lived nearby, over some issues.

During the fight, Ruby choked Tulsi so hard that she lost consciousness.

Her family and police rushed the girl to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead. Mishra said Ruby has been booked and detained.
