An unknown dead body was recovered from the Ranbiara river in Bohraharan area of the shopkeepers district of South Kashmir on Thursday morning.
An official told the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the local people saw the unknown body in Ranbiara, after which they informed the local police unit that soon reached the spot.
He said that the body was transferred to a hospital for identity and other legal formalities.
Meanwhile, the police has started an investigation and is working to find out the identity of the body- (KNO)
