“This lady went absolutely crazy and we had to go back to the gate to get her out,” the passenger who took the video wrote in the caption.
The video shows a blonde passenger climbing out of her window seat and stopping in front of a flight attendant, whom she spots.
“I’m getting up. I’m allowed to stand up. When you keep us on the tarmac for an hour, I’m allowed to stand up,” the woman yells.
The flight attendant nodded and calmly told the angry passenger that it was “no problem.”
“No problem at all. It’s actually no problem for me to stand. Bullshit,” the angry passenger spat as the flight attendant walked away.
Soon after the irritated passenger realizes that she is being filmed, and becomes silent.
In a follow-up video, the passenger who recorded the scathing statement described how their flight to Charleston, South Carolina, was delayed for three hours before they could even board – and then they were detained on the tarmac again for more than an hour.
“So at this point, everyone is just over it. You can feel the collective exhaustion. And then this woman loses it and starts yelling the C-word over and over again. And everyone goes quiet,” said the TikToker who shared the video.
A passenger sitting in the row behind them tried to keep things in perspective, telling the angry passenger, “We all have to be somewhere, my mom’s funeral is tomorrow,” the TikToker said.
“It kind of puts everything into perspective for everyone. We’re all stressed, we all have our own things going on,” he said.
However, the well-intentioned comment wasn’t enough to calm her down — and she was soon escorted off the plane, the TikToker said.
The TikToker retells the story, saying that the flight attendants “literally were angels” and helped everyone else stay calm during a very stressful time.
