The incident occurred on March 8, when the 58-year-old flight attendant was identified in court documents. People As Frederick Fleishman, a Cayman Airways employee encountered at an employee shuttle bus stop in the airport parking area.
The Cayman Airways employee was reportedly talking loudly in French on her phone while waiting for the bus to arrive.

The situation worsened once the two boarded the shuttle, with Fleischman admitting in body-cam footage that he tapped the woman on the shoulder, telling her to stop speaking loudly. He also allegedly threatened to ensure that she was fired from her job.
“She calls me a racist over and over again,” Fleischman told officers just before boarding the United flight. “She snaps me with her fingers, she tells me to go fuck myself, and I said, ‘We just want peace in the shelter.'”
“I turned around and put my hand on his shoulder, and I said, ‘Can you please stop?’ And that was the only time I touched her,” he added.
One of the officers then explained to Fleishman that under Florida law, any intentional, unwanted physical contact can legally constitute battery.
“As you know, this is technically a battery,” the officer said of the alleged incident.
Authorities arrested Fleischman on a misdemeanor charge of battery and removed him from his flight.
“If you hadn’t even touched her, we would have just left it verbal,” an officer told Fleischman as they were getting into the elevator, and he again admitted to touching the woman.
Fleishman was later released with the expectation that he would appear in court. However, Florida state prosecutors ultimately formally dismissed the case on May 16.
