Daniel Dubois Undefeated heavyweight contender Agit Kabayel has been called out.
Britain are eyeing a comeback in early 2026 after losing their undisputed contest oleksandr usyk In July.
Dubois accepted an IBF final eliminator bout against Cuba’s Frank Sanchez earlier this month, but the bout has not yet been finalized.
Kabayel, 26-0 (18 KOs), is scheduled to return to the ring on January 10 in his homeland of Germany. He has not revealed who he will face and has now suggested that Dubois could be the perfect opponent.
“The problem is we haven’t found an opponent,” Kabayel told Ring Magazine. “We’re waiting for a good opponent. I heard Daniel also doesn’t have an opponent in the UK. Why not Kabayel vs. Daniel?”
“I’m up for anybody. I’m a player. I hate trash talk. People say it’s a good fight for the fans, or not? Kabayel vs. Daniel!”

Kabayel has not fought since defeating Deontay Wilder joseph parker opponent Xilei Zhang in six rounds in February.
That win earned him the WBA interim heavyweight title, and Kabayel also had wins over Sanchez and Arslanbek Makhmudov.
He will be a dangerous opponent for Dubois, but the 28-year-old Londoner feels it is worth the risk to get himself back into title contention.

Wardley is set to get his shot at Usyk in the first half of 2026, while Kabayel could be next in line to face the winner.
With that in mind, Dubois could see the fight with Kabayel as an opportunity to jump in line for a chance to become a two-time world champion.
If he defeats Kabayel, he would put himself in prime position for a trilogy bout with Usyk or an all-British showdown against Wardley.
