UN atomic watchdog worries Israel could attack Iran’s nuclear facilities

The head of the U.N. nuclear watchdog said he was concerned that Israel’s response to an Iranian attack could target nuclear facilities and urged Israel to show “extreme restraint.”

The comments by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi came after Israel’s military chief said Iran’s missile and attack drone strikes “will be met with a response”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been discussing possible responses with senior officials.
