Ukraine receives soldiers of more than 900 bodies in Russia killed during the war.


Kyiv:

Kiev said that on Friday she found bodies of hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers killed during the battles with Russia, which was such protection in three weeks of space.

The exchange of death of prisoners and war is one of some areas of cooperation between the two sides as Russia invaded Ukraine over three years ago.

A statement by the government agency said, “As a result of the repatriation activities, the bodies of 909 fallen Ukrainian guards were returned to Ukraine.”

According to the Russian state media, on March 28, the two countries made a similar exchange, in which Kiev received the same number of bodies, 909 and Moscow 43.

Russia has not commented on the latest conservation.

In mid -February, Ukraine President Volodimier Zelansky told US Broadcaster NBC News that his more than 46,000 soldiers were killed and some 380,000 were injured.

Russia has not reported its loss since autumn 2022, when it killed less than 6,000 soldiers.

The ongoing investigation by Mediajona and BBC News Russian has identified the names of about 100,000 dead Russian soldiers since the onset of the war based on information from publicly available sources.
