UK teenagers are guilty of killing an 80 -year -old Indian -origin man

London:

Two teenagers were found guilty of murder in connection with the death of 80 -year -old Bhim Sen Kohli on Tuesday, who died last September after the “unsafe” attack on his dog in a park near Lester, East England.

Both a 14 -year -old boy and a 12 -year -old girl who filmed and encouraged the attack, both were convicted by a jury after hearing in the Lecester Crown Court. Neither can be nominated for legal reasons due to his age and the next month will be sentenced.

Senior District Crown Prosecutor Kelly Mathews at the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said, “This tragic incident shook the lecester and the community beyond. Mr. Kohli prepared his dog to walk in his local park, as he did every day, but then lost his life.”

“We have shown in this test that these young defendants were responsible for the death of Mr. Kohli – in an insecure attack on an innocent person. He filmed the incident and laughed and laughed later,” he said.

The court heard that the boy was a prominent criminal because it was his actions, resulting in Kohli. Evidence of the girl’s participation revealed that she was part of the attack, encouraging it and filming it, but there was not enough evidence to show that she could overcome the terrible consequences of the boy’s violent conduct.

“The circumstances around this incident are really tragic and heartbreaking. Bhim Kohli was doing just what he did every day, walking his dog in the park which was just a yard from his front door.

“Sadly, the resulting injuries were fatal and the death of Mr. Kohli not only gave up the loss of a beloved husband, father and grandfather to a family, but also a wider community.

He said, “The age of the defendants in the case has added the disastrous circumstances and complications in the case around the incident. They have to deal with the vastness that a man resulted in their actions lost their lives and bring the results now,” he said.

After the sentence, the victim’s daughter Susan Kohli issued a statement on behalf of the family to pay tribute to her life partner for 55 years, a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Susan said, “Whatever was told to Dad, he will never leave us.

“Dad was not worth it, and we would not wish anyone else to wishes this pain … Losing Dad in these cruel, violent, and deep shocking circumstances makes it feel that our hearts have been separated. We cannot put in pain every day, and it has increased during the test,” he said.

In the context of some details of the test, he said: “One of the video was hitting Dad on his knees with a boy’s slider. A loud terrible slap sound is heard when the boy killed the father. The girl is completely disgusting to hear the girl laughing at the dad. This sound plays on our head and above.

“In addition, the video was captured at an attempt to call for the help of Dad because he shouted to his grandson. We did not hear his call for help and it hurts us deeply.” This was a recovered evidence from the girl’s phone to shown annoying footage of the attack, which was presented to the jury. The boy admitted the witnesses that he had attacked Kohli and also wrote a letter to a social worker, which he had done.

CPS also presented CCTV evidence of its works before and after the attack, of which audio also jokes about the attack to friends.

“In charging these two young defendants, CPS determined that both of them were criminally responsible for the death of Mr. Kohli, but with various roles. They were prosecuted under the principle of joint venture.
