Paramount+ has tapped Conor McGregor to promote their new broadcast deal with the UFC, hinting at a potential return for the Irishman.

McGregor, 37, has not fought since July 2021, when he suffered a broken leg in his second straight loss to old rival Dustin Poirier.

However, he has long wanted to return to the cage and has expressed a strong desire fighting in UFC’s highly regarded White House card in summer.

Now, Beauty Trap has been front and center on billboards in New York’s Times Square touting the UFC’s new partnership with Paramount+, which will see Dana White’s promotion abandon its pay-per-view model in favor of an all-inclusive subscription model.

McGregor shared a picture of the billboard on his social media: “I’m so honored to ‘Make UFC Great Again!’ only on @paramountplus.”

McGregor, a former two-division UFC champion, was scheduled to return to the Octagon in June 2024, but withdrew from a planned fight against Michael Chandler on two weeks’ notice with a broken toe.

The Irishman previously claimed his long-awaited showdown with Chandler was a “Transaction completed” White House card, although nothing has been confirmed by the UFC at this time.

McGregor has also battled numerous legal issues in recent years, and in November a civil jury ruled in favor of a woman who accused him of rape in 2018. McGregor was found responsible for the attack and his appeal against the verdict failed in July, but he continues to deny all allegations against him.
