Two Spirit Airlines Employees were accused of theft after a passenger left behind his $500 Louis Vuitton wristband.

Idovu then took the wristlet down to another gate two, where he took a complete inventory of its contents. Linton then joined Idovu at the gate, where she deposited the materials on the gate counter. But within seconds, Idowu puts those items in a plastic bag, according to records, as Linton places the wristlet “deep inside” her bag.

According to the affidavit, Idovu threw the plastic bag in the trash.
Idowu was arrested on November 21 and pleaded not guilty to charges of petit larceny worth more than $100 and less than $750. No bond information was released for Idowu but jail records show he is no longer in police custody. Independent The Broward Sheriff’s Office has been contacted for more information.
Linton was arrested on 13 November. He posted $500 bond and is no longer in custody. He has not yet entered a plea after being charged with petit larceny worth less than $40.

“We are aware that two employees were charged with alleged theft in November,” Spirit said in a statement. “One employee has been suspended without pay, and the other is on a leave of absence. We are investigating this matter thoroughly and will take further action as deemed necessary following the conclusion of our investigation.”
“Spirit conducts background checks on all employees consistent with applicable law,” the statement continued.
